The cake is delicious, but if you are a cookie person you must visit this place asap!! I bought a regular chocolate chip cookie, and the flavor was phenomenal. I loved that the cookie was chewy and soft and not too sweet. I ate the whole thing without even warming it up. I’m officially obsessed with these cookies. I also had the mango cake and it was good. The cake was soft, and the frosting was light and refreshing. I can’t wait to try other cake flavors very soon.

I'll be honest. I never considered myself a cake person. Most cakes I've had were either too sweet, too dry, or just not worth getting excited about. Then I tried Simply Sweet Desserts. Their cakes completely changed my mind. They're fresh, flavorful, perfectly balanced, and honestly some of the best desserts I've ever had. Now, if there's a celebration or I just want a great treat, this is the only place I think of. The staff is straightforward, friendly, and genuinely cares about their customers. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality you get. They even offer loyalty cards, which is a nice bonus for people who keep coming back—and trust me, you will. If a guy who thought he didn't like cake can become a regular customer, that's probably the best review I can give. Simply Sweet Desserts has made me a fan.

The best cookie I have ever had and I didn't even warm it up like suggested. Heaven. It was so good and satisfying that I didn't even need another one. Quality ingredients. The staff is very friendly. The shop is very cute and clean. This is my new favorite place! Hopefully they can extend their hours someday! I absolutely love dessert shops but this is the best so far! Adding more to state that I'm madly in love with their cake as well. I thought it did not have enough frosting because I usually want tons. Turns out that if the cake tastes amazing, a ton of frosting is not needed. It was perfect! These ladies are very good at what they do! P.S. they make the Victorian bakery's buttercream taste like stale butter.

We have been a handful of times now, always super friendly staff. The cake is moist and absolutely delish. The almond cake is my absolute favorite. The menu does change a lot so they might not have your go to every time. Im patiently waiting to get my hands on the strawberry & almond croissants. This is a buy only/to-go shop with no dining/seats.

This place has some of the best desserts around. Owners are extremely kind and from Chicago and have brought a portion of bakery sweets to SW Michigan. The cakes are some of the best cakes I've had. You can tell the ingredients used in their desserts are of high grade. They also have the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. The edges are not hard but yet soft and carmalized with cinnamon sugar. The icing isn't cheap confection sugar icing but rather a generous portion of cream cheese frosting. This thing is addictive. All of their desserts are something special. I've tried soany, no bakeries around are of this quality. Kalamazoo is due for a quality decident cake and sweets one stop shop. Highly recommend and have tried easily half the menu. Five Stars. Worth the drive.
